Concert Season Opera Prima

The Opera Prima Concert Season is now a point of reference in musical life in Salento and tells classical music to everyone, presents a wonderful world to newbies and offers valuable concerts to those who are already passionate.

The Fifth Edition will start from 29 October 2022 until 15 April 2023 and the Artistic Director is the young cellist Ludovica Rana.

The Season is divided into three series:

• “Sfere Sonore” is entirely dedicated to chamber-instrumental expression, from Brahms to Grieg, in which they will alternate on stage as musicians such as Misia Jannoni Sebastianini, Daniel Palmizio, Ludovica Rana, Massimo Spada, Riccardo Zamuner, Emanuele Delucchi, Fabiola Tedesco, Martina Consonni;
• “Appassionato”, he will present the various nuances of vocality in 3 strong appointments thematic characterization with artists such as Daniela Pini, Maurizio Leoni, with a tribute to Enrico Caruso, and the representation of the Serva Padrona di Paisiello;
• “Di Concerto con mamma e papa” is an initiative tailor-made for an audience of children, suitable for families and for forming a new young audience. Each title is structured according to a musical-theatrical-graphic formula that draws on the repertoire for instrumental ensemble and for solo instruments, with the creation of specific scripts. The Educational series will conclude with a traditional Christmas Concert entrusted to the SMA youth orchestra conducted by Marco Grasso.
