Intergenerational Festival of Children's Literature OJCE I DZIATKI

The Intergenerational Festival of Children's Literature OJCE I DZIATKI is the result of many years of programmatic and production experience in organising literary festivals and research on the role of the family in the development of children's reading experiences. It is a unique project promoting valuable literature and its creators in a surprisingly modern form (interactive meetings with writers and illustrators, workshops with artists, happenings, exhibitions, games, and literary competitions), where activities are aimed primarily at children in the context of the family as a place shaping and reinforcing reading habits. This is already the sixth edition of the festival, and in previous years, it was a great success. The engaging activities around books are intended to support parents and grandparents in their roles, strengthening intergenerational bonds and serving as a counterpoint to rapidly advancing technological and social changes leading to generational alienation. The festival is meant to be a way to spend time with books and each other in an inspiring, literary and familial manner.
