We’ve spent far too much time indoors, and now it’s finally time for some energetic live music. The cold weather is behind us, so grab your friends and head to these festivals to soak up the madness and atmosphere of rock music! Let’s kick off the summer festival season in the best way possible - singing and screaming our lungs out to some rock tunes.

Night and Day

Night and Day 2026
29 May - 1 June 2026, Boyle, Ireland

A celebration of music, art, and culture with the Night and Day festival. By day, the festival becomes a place to enjoy family-friendly activities, workshops, and food stalls. As night falls, the energy of the festival shifts with live performances, lights, and immersive experiences, showcasing emerging talents from Ireland, bringing some legendary international performers to Roscommon and including multiple rock acts.

Mezi ploty

Mezi ploty 2026

During this edition of the festival, Mezi ploty, will feature musicians, bands, theatre performances, and dance companies across a wide range of genres - including rock and many more. Every year, the festival aims to showcase the power of art, while raising awarness about mental health and wellbeing, fostering social inclusion, and encouraging mutual understanding for a more fulfilling life through the arts.

MUSIC by Knight 2026

On Saturday, May 30, Castle Doornenburg will once again open its gates for the fourth edition of the MUSIC by Knight festival. This year, the festival welcomes Van Dik Hout as its headliner. This Dutch pop‑rock band will transform the centuries‑old stronghold into a vibrant, echoing rock temple, bringing their unmistakable sound to one of the most atmospheric locations in the Netherlands.

Campus Festival

Campus Festival 2026
 22 - 26 July 2026, Debrecen, Hungary

The Campus Festival will celebrate its 16th edition this year, featuring 20 venues and more than 400 programmes. As one of the country’s largest contemporary music and cultural events, this multi-genre festival will include a dedicated arena for rock and metal artists, alongside many more performers appearing throughout the festival.

Every year, the Sajeta Art & Music Festival brings together a carefully selected programme of different styles and genres to entertain curious visitors. The festival celebrates creativity and diversity, welcoming both Slovenian and international artists across a range of musical genres, including rock. Although music is a major part of the festival, the programme also includes film, multimedia, poetry, sculpture, performances, dance and graphic art.
