8th Akropoditi DanceFest
The international Dance & Dancetheatre Festival “Akropoditi DanceFest” has been established since July 2013 by the Akropoditi Dance and Performing Arts Centre.
The Festival takes place every summer in Syros; it lasts two weeks and includes:
– Five-day and two-day training workshops and presentations
– Dance and Dancetheatre performances
– Open Jams
– Video projections
– Parallel actions throughout the island of Syros
The Festival hosts artists from Greece and abroad, combining theoretical and practical workshops with diverse content. Depending on their content, the workshops are addressed to amateur or dance and theatre professionals and participants can choose from a combination of weekly workshops, as well as two-day workshops on weekends.
